Morten is a lawyer with a Master’s degree in Law (Cand. Jur.) from the University of Oslo in 1989. He is an experienced advisor in indirect taxation, VAT, Customs & Excises and International Trade. Morten has more than 30 years of experience from the Norwegian Ministry of Finance, as a Senior Manager with the law firms Coopers & Lybrand and PricewaterhouseCoopers, before establishing his own firm in 2000. He has been a deputy judge from the Court of First Instance (tingrett). He is also well experienced in company law, contract law, competition law and other areas of business law. He is president and member of the board of several companies in Norway.
Morten has been a partner of VAT Forum since 2001.
VAT Consulting AS provides advisory services, including tax and legal services, to both national and international clients. VAT Consulting AS also provides compliance services to foreign businesses.
